课题:Unit 8  What time do you get up ?

Good afternoon, everyone. I’m Pan Linyun. I’m an English teacher from Songbai Primary School of Yongshun . Now I’ll say Part A and Part B of Unit 8 ——What time do you get up in Book Five. I’ll prepare to say the lesson from six parts.

.Analysis of the teaching material
The topic of this unit is about a day’s timetable.This is an interesting topic for students. So all the activities in this unit are helpful to raise students’ learning interest and also to improve their spoken English.

.Analysis of the students
The students have learnt English for more than two years.As I know,a few students are very well and most of them are interested in English .But some students are very poor in English and have no interest.So the most important things in this unit is to raise all the students’ learning interest.

(在这一环节中教师复习旧知,并用自制的时间表导入新课。)
Step:
A  Timetable
First, ask the students to look at the timetable and learn the words :EnglishChinesemathPEcomputer music and class.
Second, with the help of the teacher,ask students to finish the rest blanks and learn the rest vocabulary:half past sixget uphave breakfastgo to school have lunchgo homehave suppergo to bed.
Third, now is’t time to play a game to practise how to express time and remember vacabulary.If the teacher’s voice is loud ,the students must be in a low voice. Then the boys and the girlsthe group A and the group B the row A and the row B take turns to practice.
(新授词汇,变换声音的高低来集中学生的注意力,达到操练单词与词组的目的,同时培养学生之间的合作意识)

Part B    Let’s learn
The teacher plays the tape recorder,let students  listen to the Part B and ask students to repeat.

(通过听录音跟读,达到培养学生听与读的能力,使学生发音标准。)
Step:
Study the target language
First,the teacher asks questions and the students answer them.

Next, the teacher devides class into two groups.
The boys ask questions and the girls answer them.
Boys: What time do you … ?
Girls:I …
Then the group A asks questions and the group B answers them.
Group A: What time do you …?
Group B: I …
The row A asks questions and the row B answers them .
Row A: What time do you … ?
Row B: I …
Finally,free talk.Ask and answer with your partners.
(由教师与学生的问答练习,逐渐转变成男生与女生,小组与小组,排与排练习,最后到个人与搭档的练习。体现了由面——到线——到点的操练方法。)
Step:
Part A   Let’s listen and say
Now, the teacher plays the tape recorder and asks the students to listen repeat and translate into Chinese.
Devide the class into two groups and ask the students to act out Lingling and Peter to pactice the dialogue.
Use the following methods to practise the dialogue .

(通过听录音跟读训练学生听与表达的能力,通过PK让学生积极参与,活跃课堂气氛,提高学习兴趣,培养合作与竞争意识。)
Step:
Make a Timetable
Ask the students to make a timetable about Part A .And ask two students to make the timetable on the blackboard.Then the teacher check the answers.

(在唱儿歌时教育学生要按时起床做一个守时的好学生。)
Step:Summary and Homework.
This class we’ve learnt key vocabulary and the target language. We’ve finished today’s timetable and the Part A’s timetable.
Now can you make a timetable about tomorrow ? And use the target language to describe when and what you do .This is your homework.

用词准确,表达清晰。但是书面化得语言比较重。作为演讲文稿,说得过去,个别地方还是用口语化得语句就会更显生动。
